Story
NSW Rural Fire Service Firefighters from New England District will this year be participating in the "Firies Climb For Motor Neurone Disease", This involves climbing the 1504 steps (98 Stories) of the Sydney Eye Tower in full structural firefighting gear and Breathing Apparatus tanks weighing a total of 20kgs.
No doubt this will be a challenging task but this is nothing compared to the challenge those suffering from this disease face on a day to day basis together with their families.
Donating to support us will go towards helping research undertaken by the Macquarie University to provide much needed funds to continue their great work.
By undertaking this challenge this is just another small way we can continue to contribute to our community.
Any donations and support is greatly appreciated and we know that with the support of all of our friends and family we can get this done and support the much needed research that takes place for MND.

Your donation will go towards MND Research at Macquarie University. Macquarie University houses Australia’s largest MND research facility, as well as the MND Clinic which treats 10% of MND patients in Australia. All researchers work together in the one facility, on the one topic, with one aim: To stop MND.
